Today we want to present to you this Laowa 12mm zero-D lens. This is a wide-angle prime lens manufactured by Venus Optics under their Laowa brand. The "Zero-D" in the name stands for "Zero Distortion," highlighting one of the lens's key features: minimal distortion, even at the widest focal lengths.
It opens to t/2.9 and covers a full frame sensor and Vista Vision, making it one of the ideal wide angle options for professional film cameras (such as RED Monstro, Alexa LF, Sony Venice, etc).

It can also be used in 18mm for Super 35 cameras (BMPCC 6k, RED Gemini, Z-Cam S6, etc.)

All in all, this Laowa lens is compact and light, it offers a 122 degrees field of view, has notched rings to accommodate a follow focus, all in a quality aluminum body.
