Butte Bellevue, summer 2019. The inhabitants of the poorest district of France, located in the belly of Marseille, are preparing to spend an eventful summer: already that their daily life does not spoil them, now their "village" is under the threat of an urban project that could transform it sustainably. The inhabitants worry and try to mobilize themselves, despite their social, cultural or ethnic differences, despite the tensions or di ffi culties. What is the special bond that ties them all together to this neighborhood? What identity do they all have in common? It is this question that "Peril over the city" explores, which follows the life of a summer in the lives of several emblematic inhabitants of the Butte. Personal trajectories and collective impulses, the story of a poor, lively district, a permanent laboratory for living together, its struggles and its magic.
